The camp's ledger

What the camp keeps of you

PrePull is a fan camp to live WoW Forever together. Here, plainly, is what it keeps of you, why, for how long, and how to take it all back.

Who keeps the ledger

The data controller is RedSharkZz, who runs PrePull personally, as a volunteer. For any question or request, send a direct message on Discord to RedSharkZz.

What the camp writes down

  • Your Discord profile, received at sign-in: id, username, avatar and email address. The email stays on the server: it is never shown or shared.
  • The list of your Discord servers, read at sign-in to know whether you are on the fellowship's. Only that yes or no is kept.
  • What you declare yourself: your characters and their history, your banner, your language, your messages, reactions and reports, your outings and sign-ups, your World Buffs and their (private) notes.
  • Your session: a sign-in token. Neither your IP address nor your browser is recorded.
  • The Discord tokens, encrypted, used for sign-in only.

Why

To run the camp you join: recognise you, show the fellowship, organise outings, count World Buffs. This is the performance of the service you ask for by entering.

To protect the camp: moderation, reports, the log of moderators' actions, the ban list. This is the legitimate interest of keeping the place healthy.

Nothing is sold, nothing is used for advertising, no profiling.

For how long

As long as your account exists, your data stays. For the rest, a purge runs every night:

DataErased
Expired sessions, stale sign-in tokensas soon as they expire
Deleted character, with its history, messages and reactions30 days later
Deleted message30 days later, unless a report is open
Resolved report6 months later
Past or cancelled outing, with its sign-ups6 months after its date
Log of moderation actions1 year
Ban of a deleted account (Discord id, reason, date)as long as the ban stands
Nightly encrypted database backup30 days

When you delete your account, everything that is yours goes at once. The encrypted nightly backups keep a copy for 30 days at most, until they expire. Only the moderation log keeps, for up to a year, a trace of the actions that concerned you (without your username). The bot removes your outings' announcements from Discord; other messages already posted on Discord stay there.

Where your data sleeps

  • The website: Vercel (Vercel Inc., United States).
  • The database, the Discord bot and the background tasks (announcements, reminders, nightly purge): Railway (Railway Corporation), in Amsterdam, in the European Union.
  • The database backups, encrypted: GitHub (GitHub Inc., United States), kept 30 days.
  • Discord (Discord Inc., United States), for sign-in and the bot's messages.

These providers may process data in the United States. These transfers rely on the safeguards of the GDPR: the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

  • Take your data: « Take my data », in your tent (or at the camp's door if access is closed to you), downloads everything the camp keeps of you.
  • Erase everything: « Leave the camp for good », in the same place, deletes your account at once.
  • Correct: your characters and your banner are edited from your tent; your username and avatar follow Discord's at each sign-in.
  • Object, restrict, ask a question: write to RedSharkZz on Discord. Answer within a month.
  • Complain: if something is wrong, you can contact the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).

Cookies and small traces

The camp only sets the cookies it cannot do without: your session, to stay signed in, and your language. No analytics, no advertising: hence no banner.

The music and a few display preferences stay in your browser (local storage) and never leave your device.
